It's The Little "Big" Thing! (That Means So Much)

Have you ever heard the phrase "Little things come in small packages" or "It's the little things that mean so much"? Well, actually, the second phrase has been on my mind alot lately. I am so amazed that it is in the little things that really make a difference in my life. I love the outdoors and especially being in the presence of nature. Recently, I visited a beautiful pumpkin patch and my eyes welcomed an enormous field of an assortment of pumpkins. I had no idea that there were so many different colors and types of pumpkins. It was an absolutely stunning sunny day and it was the perfect opportunity to take a stroll in the patch. I decided to take a few selfies and some snapshots. I decided that I wanted to take a pumpkin back with me but I did not need a huge one, just a little something. I panned the area only to select a small pumpkin. One that could actually fit in my hand. I took a moment to take in the sights and then looked at the small pumpkin that I held in the palm of my hand. It was at that moment that I realized that it really didn't take much for me to enjoy my time there and I was just as satisfied with the pumpkin that I had selected that I really did not need to leave with a humongous one. I was just fine with the "little big thing". You may be wondering what is the relevance of this and what does this have to do with the title "It's the Little Big Thing!" Well. I am writing this blog in the Month of November 2018 and as I am writing this, I am reminded of one word that keeps me grounded. That word is gratitude.

During the month of November, I am sending out the invitation to join me in the "Be Transformed 30 Day Gratitude Challenge". For 30 days we will identify one word a day to express our gratitude. By the end of 30 days, I am will have looked forward to seeing how far thankfulness and gratitude will have taken us. Will you join me in the 30 day gratitude challenge? You will find a free downloadable calendar and journal pages to record your thoughts of gratitude for the month of November. (Go to the Transformational Resources link on this website and get your copy. Don't forget to make additional copies of the journal pages).

As I journal and record that one little big thing that means alot, I hope you will find joy in doing the same.

Be Transformed!
