Keep Sowing: Sowing Great Seeds in the Lives of Others! (Planting for a Harvest, Pt 2)

In part 1 of this series, Keep Sowing: "Your Fruit Is Coming: Planting for a Harvest”, I talked about the fact that we wonder if what we are planting will reap a harvest. Will it grow? We were encouraged to keep looking at the sprouting stage through the lens of expectancy instead of viewing it through the lens of uncertainty. Manifestation will come.

Let’s make a little shift here and talk about sowing into the lives of others through the use of our gifts, talents, skills, abilities, time, our God-given resources and even service. With compassion and gratitude, we can impart greatness and invest into the lives of others simply by helping them achieve their goals or lending a helping hand. There is something magnificent and fulfilling when we embark on a journey of pouring into others.

What expertise or resources do you have that can be a benefit to another person’s personal development?

You never know how impactful and empowering it could be to share your knowledge and prowess to someone who is awaiting for the opportunity to sharpen their iron. Iron sharpens iron. I am amazed at the many people in my life who have come alongside of me to share their areas of mastery, mentoring, ideas, or even life experiences with me. The seeds of greatness that they have planted are reaping a harvest in my life as we speak.

Nothing is ever wasted when were are planting good seed.

When we sow good seeds, sprouting and even a plentiful harvest of good fruit is certain. That’s encouraging to know. How powerful! Good fruit will inevitably show up in the lives of others when we invest our time and gifts into them. It may not manifest today but it will reap a harvest soon enough. Being a change agent is awesome!

Be encouraged to be a change agent to help someone reach their dreams. This is a great way of sowing seeds of greatness. I always say, sometimes, we may not be there down road to actually see the harvest immediately in the other person’s life, but surely, it will produce, and in turn, produce fruit in our own lives. Nothing is ever wasted when were are planting good seed.

I love the scripture in 2 Corinthians 9:11, it states: You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (NIV)

That says it all. Let’s keep sowing seeds of greatness. We are changing lives in a positive way, one seed at a time.

Could you use up to 7 minutes of empowerment and inspiration for your day?
